From one neighbourhood to a movement.
Founded in Wari
Tamim Chowdhury and a small group of friends launch Parbo Foundation in the Wari neighbourhood of Dhaka with their first food distribution drive.
COVID Response
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Parbo mobilizes rapidly — running awareness campaigns and distributing relief supplies to affected families across Dhaka.
Official Registration
Parbo Foundation receives official registration (No. 0719/Wari/BD), formalizing its status as a non-profit organization and opening doors to larger partnerships.
100+ Volunteers
The volunteer network surpasses 100 active members, enabling simultaneous campaigns across multiple areas — education, healthcare, and emergency response.
Expanding Programs
Launch of the Safe Adolescence program and Love for Dogs initiative, expanding Parbo's focus to youth health and animal welfare alongside core food and education work.
200+ Volunteers
Volunteer network doubles to 200+ active members. Parbo runs its most ambitious Ramadan campaign to date, serving thousands of iftar meals across five districts.
